Players/cheerleaders cannot participate in modified football/cheer AND HJC, it is one or the other (RYFC rule)

A Cheerleading: Grades 6 & 7

Hilton Jr. Cadets Cheer Program

The Hilton Jr. Cadets Cheerleading program is a place where young athletes build confidence, strength, friendships, and leadership skills in a fun and supportive environment.
What We Offer:
Skills-Based Training
Athletes learn age-appropriate cheer fundamentals including:
- Clean motions
- Jumps
- Tumbling
- Stunts
- Dance choreography
- Sideline cheers
Whether your child is brand new or has been in the program before, our goal is to meet your child at their skill level and help them grow.
Positive Coaching & Safety First
Our certified volunteer coaches prioritize:
- Proper technique and progression
- Teamwork and sportsmanship
- Safe stunt training and conditioning
- Encouragement and character development
More Than a Sport
Cheerleading teaches:

Athletes learn the value of showing up, supporting one another, and committing to a shared goal.
Competitions, Game Day Opportunities and other events
- Fireman’s Parade in July
- Cheer at the first 4 football games- attendance is mandatory
- 4 competitions – attendance is mandatory
- Homecoming parade in September

Season Commitment
- Full Season: August-November
- 3-4 practices per week
- Game-day cheering commitments
- Participating in 4 local competitions
Athletes are expected to attend practices and games consistently. Cheer is a team sport, and each participant plays an important role in formations, stunts, and routines.
